The Little Engine That Could

The Little Engine That Could is a story about a little train that saved the day because he thought he could do the job.

God wants us to think positively, not because of everything we can do, but because we can trust Him to work through us to get the job done.

That is what J. Irwin Miller did with the small town of Columbus, Indiana.  He knew it could be something great.  We need to think that way about our city, church, family and even ourselves.  Irwin Miller said, “What is built reflects what a city thinks of itself and what it aims to be.”

Don’t forget about our verse for 2017 in Psalm 65:11 (NKJV) which says, “You crown the year (2017) with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.”
